Details: Children need warmth and affection that includes care and safe touches in all settings. In this workshop you will learn the difference between healthy and unhealthy touch. We discuss safe and respectful interactions with children and how to recognize when someone’s interactions with a child are crossing that boundary.

Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children

higher risk of being commercially sexually exploited later on in their lives. In this workshop you will learn the reasons for this and come to understand that preventing child sexual abuse is a key to protecting children from sexual exploitation.

Recognizing & Reporting Child Abuse & Neglect

Details: In this workshop, you will learn definitions and indicators of physical abuse, emotional abuse, and neglect as defined by your state.
You will also learn the legal obligations of a mandated reporter and understand the steps of reporting, including essential information to provide when making a report.
